Are most wives like this?

my dad was going to go to the big 12 basketball tournament friday, since he went to missouri and has never been to the big 12 basketball tourney, well my step-mom said he couldnt go because she has a hair appointment and said someone needs to pick up the baby from daycare. well, my grandma lives fairly close to the daycare and my stepmom said that she couldnt do it because she doesnt have a carseat base or a car seat. Then he said she could just take the baby over to my grandma's herself before her appointment and she got mad for no apparent reason and tried to start an argument. Then she tried to make him feel bad but she does this alot. He'll make plans and she'll get jealous or for some apparent reason she will make an excuse for him not to go because i guess she doesnt really have a social life and doesnt want him to have one either. He's really whipped and takes his frustration out on me all the time and it pisses me off. so do most wives try to control there husbands constantly?
