Is it true Dasani drained a natural water table in Africa to use for bottled water and it caused a famine?

I heard Dasani water (Coca Cola Company) drained a village's natural water table in Africa to bottle Dasani products and it caused a famine for the village that led to starvation and loss of life due to the villager's inability to grow crops and have fresh drinking water. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?? Is this just another 'urban legend'??
