Post-birth control cycle?

Ok, I'm 22 and just recently quit taking birth control pills because they caused some immediate health issues. I had been on the pill for about 3 years so my periods were like clockwork. After I stopped taking the pills (mid-pack) my period started (April 23 - 27). About a week ago I had a few days of white discharge, which was so thick I thought it was a yeast infection (but it wasn't). I have also had gas and slight cravings over the past few days but nothing too severe. So, today is Day 29 of my cycle and their is still no sign of my next period. So, when should I expect my next period or is it normal to skip months or have irregularity after getting off the pill? Sorry to get so personal but thanks for the answers...
