Second Industrial Revolution!!!?
During the Second Industrial Revolution there was a complete revolution in the servicing of cities and their infrastructure. We are talking about the development of modern water, power, transportation, sewerage, lighting utilities. Clean water became available to all urban dwellers, streets became safer as they were well lighted at night and police could communicate by telephone call boxes, homes got gas and electricity, disease was reduced due to modern sanitary methods, new suburbs developed thanks to electric street railways (streetcars) and cities grew vertically thanks to structural steel and elevators.
